Introduction

IndianMSME.org is a national B2B e-marketplace platform with 400+ registered manufacturing companies and 20,000+ listed products. The platform provides direct manufacturer pricing across India through its District Distribution Center (DDC) network.

The DBA model is designed to strengthen district-level business reach and connect manufacturers, distributors and retailers within the distribution ecosystem.

02

About the DBA Role

A District Business Associate (DBA) is an authorized commission-based business growth partner of IndianMSME.org responsible for promoting products, generating orders and serving genuine buyers through the district distribution system. No recruitment-based earnings are offered.

Order Generation

Generate orders from retailers and wholesalers.

Brand Promotion

Promote listed products and brands in the local market.

DDC Coordination

Repeat Business

Build long-term relationships with local retailers.

03

  • Enable direct manufacturer-to-retailer supply.
  • Support Mission 800 DDC expansion.
  • Create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
04

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist genuine retailers with product enquiries and account registration; registration alone does not earn commission.
  • Collecting and submitting orders.
  • Coordinate payment through officially approved payment channels; do not collect unauthorized personal-account payments.
  • Delivery follow-up with DDC.
05

Sales-Based Commission Structure

Illustrative published slabs from the current DBA scheme are reproduced below. Commission arises only on eligible product orders that have been paid, verified, fulfilled and cleared under the signed DBA agreement.

Monthly Eligible SalesIndian MSME CommissionAdditional Authorized Seller Commission
₹0 – ₹5,00,0000.50%Up to 10% only where a seller has separately approved it in writing for an eligible order; not automatic
Above ₹5,00,000 – ₹10,00,0000.75%Not specified in the supplied scheme
Above ₹10,00,0001.00%Not specified in the supplied scheme

Important: The source does not specify whether a single rate applies to all eligible monthly sales or only to the value within each slab. The final signed agreement must define this before payouts are calculated. Seller commission must not be assumed for the second or third slabs.

Payment cycle: The scheme states 30 days, subject to verification, payment clearance, reconciliation, applicable deductions and the executed agreement. The exact cycle start/cut-off and settlement date must be specified in that agreement.

What Qualifies for Commission?

  • A genuine product order must be attributable to the approved DBA, recorded in company records and successfully fulfilled.
  • Only verified and cleared sales count; cancelled, returned, duplicate, fake or unpaid orders are not eligible.
  • Where a refund or return happens after a payout, the related commission may be reversed or adjusted through the documented reconciliation procedure.
  • Recruitment, joining, enrollment, DDC/DBA signup and creating a sales network without an actual sale attract no commission.
  • GST treatment, shipping charges, discounts, TDS and the net eligible sales base must be defined in the executed scheme agreement; the webpage alone does not establish them.
  • Any seller-funded additional commission needs order-level seller authorization, a specified rate, an audit trail and an agreed payment responsibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does DBA recruitment or retailer registration generate income?

No. Under the direct-sales-only policy, enrollment or recruitment by itself does not generate commission. Eligible commissions depend on genuine, verified product sales.

Is 10% seller commission paid on every order?

No. The existing table mentions up to 10% in its first slab. It is neither a guaranteed rate nor an automatic payment. Written seller authorization, eligible order terms and an agreed calculation are needed.

What happens after an order is cancelled or refunded?

That order should be excluded from eligible sales, and previously credited commission may be adjusted under the documented refund and reconciliation policy.

When will commission be paid?

The current scheme mentions a 30-day payment cycle. The exact monthly cut-off, due date, documentation and tax treatment must be confirmed in the executed DBA agreement.

Does submitting this form mean I am appointed?

No. Application, district verification, identity checks and written approval are required before appointment.
